1. Visit the Registrar’s Office or the Access Center to find who your academic advisor is. Your academic advisor is there to help you create a plan for your education. They can help you create a schedule and stay on track to achieving your educational goals.
2. Meet with your advisor. Departments will be post group advising appointments in the UM-Helena News. If you are unable to attend, you will need to set up an individual appointment with your advisor. You are required to meet with an advisor before you can register for classes.

New student registration begins on Monday, May 3, for all new degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students.
