Steps to Register for the Summer and Spring 2012 Semesters:

1. Meet with your advisor or attend a group advising session to be given your advising number in order to register.  All advising appointments are on a first come first served basis.

Depending on your program and the number of credits you have earned (does not include credits you are currently registered for) you will be required to meet with an individual advisor or attend a group advising session. Review the information listed by your program to see what options you have for advising:

Current Non Degree Student registration begins Friday, November 18, 2011. Please see the Registrar’s Office for your registration information.
The last day to register as a non-degree student is February 6.

New student registration begins on Monday, December 12, 2011 for all new degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students.

3. Follow these steps to register for classes on MY UMH.

  • -   Visit www.umhelena.edu
  • -   Select MY UMH
  • -   Select the Login button
  • -   Enter your Student ID number and your PIN
  • -   Select Student
  • -   Select Registration
  • -   Select Add/Drop Classes
  • -   Select the Spring 2012 term
  • -   Enter your Advising Number from you received from your advisor or group advising session.
  • -   Scroll to the bottom of the page and
  • -   Enter the CRN’s (Course Reference Number) or use Class Search to find courses and register.
  • -   Submit Changes
  • -   Scroll down to review your registration status

4. Review all drop/add, payment dates, and financial aid information to make sure you do not get dropped from classes.
