CURRENT NON-DEGREE STUDENT registration begins Monday, April 12, 2010. Please see the Registrar’s Office for registration information.

NEW STUDENT registration begins at 8:00 AM on Monday, May 3, 2010 for all new degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Registration is available 24 hours a day, through MY UMH. All students need a user ID, PIN, and Advising number to register.

User ID and Personal identification Number (PIN) When registering for classes or reviewing grades, CourseChoice requires the entry of a User ID and PIN. The User ID is the student’s school ID (refer to your Student ID card). The PIN is assigned using the student’s birth date mm/dd/yy. This is entered as a six-digit number. For example, for a student born January 9, 1990, the PIN is 010990.

For extra security, students must change his/her PIN to another six-digit number by selecting the PIN change option after logging on to CourseChoice. If a student has forgotten his/her PIN, the student should first attempt to access the system using the Forgotten PIN button. If still unable to login, the student should go to the Registrar’s Office with their student ID card to obtain a new PIN.

How to Obtain an Advising Number All students are required to obtain their advising number from their academic advisor before registration. This random number is assigned to the student by the computer each semester. This advising number is required when students first register each term on CourseChoice.

New degree-seeking students will obtain an advising number from their first semester advisor. Current degree-seeking students registering for the next term need to meet with their faculty advisor to obtain that term’s advising number.

Current non-degree seeking students need to obtain an advising number from the Registrar’s office, but are also encouraged to meet with a faculty member from their program of interest with any course or program-related questions.
